Mold In Basement
What Is Black Mold ? Black mold also known as Stachybotrys or toxic black mold is hazardous to humans. Black mold loves to grow anywhere there is moisture and it doesn't take much to get it growing. It can grow any where in the house and if you have a small amount like near a basement faucet or damp corner You may be able to take care of it yourself. However you will still need to wear the protective clothing and safety gear like a respirator and goggles and a coverall suit. You must also shut down the ventilation system so you don't release the mold spores and have it travel and spread through out the house because if that happens that small problem is now a huge one . Mold can double in size withing 24 hours if conditions are right.
